This weekend, YCCD Founder and President Kiera O’Brien appeared on the BBC World Service radio's flagship news program Newshour. BBC World Service has a weekly reach of 197 million around the world, with the biggest audience in the United States.

In her interview with host Ben James, O’Brien spoke about the need for Republican leadership on climate change and the wisdom of the free-market carbon dividends solution.

Climate change is “a problem that will have immense generational impact, and young people will bear the burden.”

For the GOP, “you run the risk of losing a massive amount of young voters if you don’t have a comprehensive plan to address this.”
